Happy midweek to U! Your 6th-ranked Miami Hurricanes are back at The Light to take on the Knights of UCF out or Orlando coached by a familiar face, ex-Cane Greg Lovelady.
This is a game we have to have and it's a revenge match too after we lost to UCF 10-5 at their place back on March 16. As many of U should already know, we travel to Tally this weekend to take on FSU and another familiar face, former Cane Alex Toral who transferred after the 2021 season.
The Noles played a doubleheader Tuesday beating visiting Jacksonville 2-1 and 5-4 in 7 innings. The games drew 4,100+ fans and U can bet Dick Howser Stadium will packed and loud this weekend.
Miami is 35-12 overall while riding a 4- game winning streak. The Knights are 28-19 having lost their last 2 games, both to USF that bumped them down to 3rd place in the AAC standings behind East Carolina and Houston. The Bulls won the "War on I-4" weekend series against UCF for the time since 2018 or 2016.
