@dolcane sorry for not including you in the Que SirUber liberal born and raised in Boston who probably loathes people in flyover country.
He’ll need all of his 160 IQ to pull this off.
I watched a clip from a Cannes Festival press conference on the movie, and I appreciate Damon's candor on the people of Oklahoma and understanding their viewpoint. It's a movie I really want to see. It reminded me of a specific Anthony Bourdain show.

I absolutely loved Anthony Bourdain's "Parts Unknown" show on CNN, particularly the insight on the exotic places most of us will never travel to. But his BEST show, IMO, was his show on West Virginia. Just the opening of that show was impeccably produced. Bourdain was overwhelmed by the hospitality and genuine nature of the folks there even though he was a New York liberal in Trump Country. He left with a different perspective and understanding, not that he ever did, or would have last year, vote for Trump, the people could not have been warmer towards him and he towards them.
This is the problem with Social Media. No matter what side you're on politically, we all become disconnected from each other because we're just typing and we really are not not getting to know one another.
The biggest problem with social media is people like you who continue fostering lies and distortions. Take that quote in your post from Dr Fauci. That quote was made in March of 2020 when the virus was still new and treatments were not available. You may also recall, this was the time when Trump failed to tell the American people how serious this virus was. Perhaps a better quote for you to parade around with is the quote where Trump said the virus would disappear. Or my favorite, ingesting disinfectants would cure the virus.I watched a clip from a Cannes Festival press conference on the movie, and I appreciate Damon's candor on the people of Oklahoma and understanding their viewpoint. Here's the problem Cems. NEITHER the right, nor the left has a monopoly on slanting the "truth."The biggest problem with social media is people like you who continue fostering lies and distortions. Your attempt to discredit a world renown scientist with an old quote is really stereotypical of the Republican party. With more known about this virus today, Dr Fauci would not say the same thing today and he has said so. But you and the other right wingers continue these distortions to downplay a serious disease. Why?
Here's a fact check of your distortion.

Outdated Fauci Video on Face Masks Shared Out of Context - FactCheck.org
An outdated video clip of Dr. Anthony Fauci is circulating on social media -- giving the false impression he is currently advising the public not to wear face masks. Fauci, like other health officials, recommends wearing a cloth face covering when distances of at least six feet can’t be maintained.www.factcheck.org
Why don't you let the person to whom my post was directed at respond? By the way, I agree. Here's the problem Cems. NEITHER the right, nor the left has a monopoly on slanting the "truth."
But, way too many think it's ONLY the other side who do it.
Wow….we’ve found common ground. There’s hope! Why don't you let the person to whom my post was directed at respond? By the way, I agree.
