Who do you all watch for sports info?

I’m done with ESPN. They just blasted Pat Narduzzi on college football live because a reporter asked him his thoughts on Norte Dame being in the ACC this year. He said if they want to be in the ACC then be in it, if not don’t give them the 5 games a year make them go play BYU and whoever else they can find.

I hate the way they have been allowed to dictate what they want to do. God I hate Notre Dame, and screw ESPN.

Totally agree! Although 2017 was the most fun ass whooping I’ve been to in person.

I’m married with kids and work a lot. I run a restaurant. I get my info from you guys and just catching up with out comes of games. Talking to friends. Talking to customers. One thing I will say is that the NBA was non existent this year across the board. Crazy. I never could have imagined. The NBA in the 90’s was the talk of everyones conversations. Every game was a who’s who of going to the game. They were all packed around the countryThings are just different now. Now it’s a yuppy crowd with maybe 1/3 occupancy and most people just wanting to take in the amenities/bars etc.

not to change the subject but I am...there’s an AM Star movie theatre right next to us. In the 90’s, if you didn’t get to a movie before the preview you didn’t get a seat. Now, it’s expensive, the movie sucks and there’s maybe twelve people in the room regardless of when you show up.

I remember when baseball was king as a kid but then the strike. It took the steroid era to bring it back. Now you you don’t even have that. Baseball is one of those games today where the only people that care are the ones who’s team has a shot at the world series.

college football through out all it’s faults is still king. Nfl still caries a lot of weight though.

I don’t watch any sports news channels really For news. I’m only really Interested in highlights so I watch the individual channels like MLB NBA Tv to see highlights. ESPN for nfl highlights and read most stuff online so I don’t have to hear any blowhards.
