Derek Chauvin said that he feared for his life from George Floyd. Chauvin is a chicken poop murderer and so is the killer of Ashley Babbit. They should be cellmates.

Ashley Babbit broke the law by entering a building she was not invited to. If they had allowed that riotous mob to enter that door many lives would have been lost.
If anyone breaks into a store, they are putting themselves at risk of being shot. If they are shot, they brought it on themselves.

There is a difference between breaking laws and breaking and entering with intent to do harm. People who do the latter are putting themselves at risk of being shot. What's so difficult to understand about that?

As to "who decides intent of the person killed"? Obviously, the shooter decides intent whether right or wrong. Chauvin was lying when he said he felt at risk. The officer who shot Babbit was not. What is your point? If your point is to condemn the officer who shot Babbit, you're totally wrong and no charges were brought for good reason! The shooting was ruled as justified whether you agree or not!
