Long time reader, rare poster. I always wonder, why don't college football have a preseason. Why can't they do something like allow every BCS school have a game against the lower division (shoot it could even be a road game to support that school) and have it not count towards the record. The twist would be, that all players can play without retribution of burning a redshirt. If teams have this, then you can force them to NOT be able to schedule scrubs in the regular season and strengthen everyone's schedule. Thoughts?
