I get it if we are waiting for after the Duke game and we are giving the AD the power, I get all that….BUT…. If Manny comes back, why was Blake James fired? Bcuz I’m sorry, no respectable AD comes into a job where the guy who had it before him was fired mainly bcuz of football performance and the hiring of a HC who isn’t getting the job done, and then stays with that same HC. It doesn’t make any sense. And if Manny somehow stays, that tells you who really runs Miami. Jr and Sr. And I thought it was laughable before but if all this happens, it’ll just show it’s all been true. Go back in time, Manny adds into a proven respected coach getting fired by being a catalyst in the divide of the team. I said this when we hired him, how do you hire the person who aided in the problem of the team? But not only does he get hired, there’s no search done whatsoever and is handed the job! Then… he strikes down Alonzo Highsmith, a man who has done more for this University than any stooge at Miami right now, coming onto the staff. He made that decision. Then, Blake James doesn’t give a public recommendation to Manny coming back….and he’s the one that gets fired after it all! Now we are being told that plan is probably the AD coming and giving Manny all the resources he can get to waste?! Make it make sense! Why would any respectable AD do this? How could he not see who runs things at Miami? He would have no real power to do anything, he would be another yes man. And THAT’S the scary part, bcuz we would just have another Blake James.
