As opposed to getting into a nuclear conflict against the Russians ? I think he's made the right moves to prevent that from happening, while murdering the Russian economy from within, which will eventually cause Putin to get overthrown by his own people.

My daughter's finance is a Russian who lives in St. Pete, near the Finland border. He's trying to get out through the Middle East whose airlines are still flying in and out of Russia but unless he can make it happen before Wednesday when the government is expected to declare martial law. In that case, the borders close and all physically capable men under the age of 40 (not sure of the age) will face military conscription.
Hope he makes it out before then, as its going to start getting real ugly inside Russia once the sanctions take full effect. Without a functioning economy, the entire country will soon be in the economic dark ages.

Trump didn't have an argument. He was simply using the 2% talking point to weaken NATO and in the process do Vladimir Putin's work for him. Trump fought every effort to sanction the Russians and arm the Ukrainians. It wasn't until bi-partisan members of Congress imposed Russian sanctions on him that he was forced to act out of fear that he would look weak if Congress went over his head to enact sanctions against Putin for 2016 election interference. Trump didn't want to do it because he feared (correctly so) that it would be an admission that the Russians helped to get him elected.
And Trump knew that pursuing Ukraines membership to nato was foolish. That’s the one thing that Putin was most concerned about. Thaywhy he invaded in 2014 because the Obama Biden administration were pushing Nato expansion. And he also knew that in 94 agreement we promised Ukrain security if they gave up their nuclear weapons, by the way they had the third largest amount of nuclear weapons at the time.

The Mueller Report was about Russian interference in the US elections, which it proved did take place. It wasn't about "collusion". Russia did support Trump's election through the release of information to harm Hillary Clinton's campaign and through the use of troll farms. This was proven in the Mueller Report, which by the way was written by many people, not Bob Mueller himself in case you think he had dementia or something.
Biden has played Ukraine about as well as any President could have. Putin's economy is about to get decimated through sanctions and the arming of Ukrainians over the past few weeks has resulted in them frustrating Russian advances, to where the Russians are beginning to run out of troops and equipment to advance much further. You don't have to start WW3 by nuking the entire planet to defeat an adversary.

China will help Russia economically. They have already said so. What Biden needs to do is stop buying Russian oil and natural gas. And other Nato countries need to do the same. That's the only thing that will really hurt the Russian economy. Even Pelosi and other Democrats want to do this.
Biden should have also provided Stinger, Javelin missiles and other lethal weapons to Ukraine much sooner. Like 6 months sooner. Why he and his national security team didn't do this much sooner I'll never know.
