Sadly, my wife agrees with you. I have one of those US Flag mailbox covers I put on from May through July in addition to the US Flags I put in the ground at the base of my mailbox post.

She asked me to not put them out last summer because she didn't want people on our street to be "concerned and feel uncomfortable" about a proud US Citizen living on the street (my Dad was a US Airforce Vet) and showing it

I am hoping for airtight honest elections that can happen if there is some election reform. In my opinion there has to be a better verification process of mail in voters. That would be an improvement.
