Al Golden finally answers the question we have all been asking

there has been so much debate on this site about the check with me offense and running the play clock down to 5 or less on every snap. It was my assertion that Al was behind this and that he wanted to shorten the game as much as possible so that he could limit the exposure of Mark's defense. Many posters have called me out on this saying "how do you know this is Al's decision, why does James Coley get a pass?" This could never be fairly answered until today.

Al loves our offensive pace. He was disgusted by the notion of speeding up the offense. He even went so far as to say that multiple personel packages with mass substitutions was harder to defend against than the hurry up.

So Forevercane and friends, no more blaming James Coley, he's just doing what his boss tells him to do.
