Truth is truth. There's only one objective reality. Case in point - we just had a free and fair election and Trump couldn't deal with the results, so he created a false reality in his head and among his insane clown posse followers that the election was stolen. That resulted in the deaths of Americans at the Capitol and damaged our own perceptions of democracy when a the Waffle House brigade stormed the halls of Congress.
So you see - there is objective factual information and there is misinformation, which is why we need to tackle the latter.
There is nothing wrong with holding publications accountable for blatant lies and also providing a great and valuable site for real fact checking. The problem I see with all these debates is a lack of common sense due to plain ignorance and political blindness. Everyone in America should want a independent and unbiased fact checking site that they can use to get FACTS. Not alternate facts,not opinions but actual FACTS.

Wrong again. We accepted the results and immediately began to criticize Trump based on his Presidential behavior. The actions that took place with Russians, Wikileaks, and the Russian GRU, which have now been widely accepted by the bipartisan Senate intel committee, and which yielded the Russia investigation, are still not fully adjudicated. Still, we didn’t proceed to live in a fantasy world where Trump wasn’t in fact the President, nor did we attack the US Capitol and murder cops along the way. The actions of both sides during the 2016 and 2020 elections are therefore light years apart.
