So now that the democrats are trying to divert attention from the miserable state of the economy and by the partisan congressional hearings and now the abortion brouhaha, we need to refocus on the disaster in Ukraine.
What I call the unnecessary and apparently endless proxy war with Russia.

We are not hearing much these days. The prior PR being spewed was mostly bogus and designed to inflame the American people. Last thing we need is more war criminal, regime change rhetoric.

The Putin hate was very much a symptom of the Trump derangement syndrome. We needed to endlessly fund the war effort of the brave Ukrainians to get even with Putin for the 2016 Hillary debacle. The democrat power structure encouraged continued fighting. Get even with Putin for those nasty Facebook bots. Claiming victory is possible, retaking Crimea is doable . Blah blah
So how is this playing out ?

The American economy is being hurt as badly as Russia’s . Maybe worse
They are a tougher people when it comes to doing without.
Ukraine’s economy is devastated
Ukrainians are dying a a clip of about 200 per day , Maybe more
Cities are being leveled
Our inflation rate is increasing
Russia is winning and about to take the entire Donbas
At least Brandon has a convenient boogeyman to blame all his woes on, regardless of the financial cost to the American people
So what options do we have ?
No good ones. No one is saying that Putin is a good guy . He’s an evil person who needs to be treated as an enemy. But he’s also very dangerous. If threatened with a direct challenge to his regime or territorial claims , he could go nuclear.
Brandon needs to convince the Ukrainians that endless war is not in their best interest . Negotiations for a resolution need to started Are territorial concessions necessary? Yes unfortunately
The alternative? Prolonged war, destruction of Ukraine,, worldwide famine, continued American economic problems under this useless administration. That’s if things go well. If they don’t , it could go nuclear
No more bluster about war crimes , victory or weakening Russia/ Putin and the bravery of the Ukrainian people. That was all PR nonsense
Our efforts should be totally focused on ending this tragedy.
