Man, what an incredible ending to tonight's game...final was 6-5 to even the weekend series at 1-1.
But there's nothing more I can say other than to re-post the bottom of the 9th with U below...
We led 3-3...GT tied it up 3-3...they took the lad 4-3 before Dyland Cloonan mashed an HR to deep CF to tie the game 4-4....but then, in the 8th, the Bees retook the lead 5-4...
Just know this...Freddy Zamora was at the plate with one on...the count was 3-2 so we are down to our last pitch and looking at going o-2 vs GT and losing the series at home....

Cloonan...went yard over CF wall last time up to tie the game at the time....can he do it again? 1-0...2-0...way outside 3-0...down the middle takes it 3-1...swing and a miss on ball 4...3-2...low in the dirt he walks him...awful pitch...fortunately.

Good evening, Caniacs!
We are a few minutes away from the first pitch of Game 2 between the host Hurricanes and the Yellowjackets of Georgia Tech. The Bees won Game 1 last night 5-4 in 10 innings.
It got pretty dramatic in the 10th with the score tied 4-4. GT's big bat slammed a go-ahead solo HR in the top of the inning to take a 50=-4 lead. In our half of the inning, we got 2 men on after 2 hits and with 2 outs, Raymond Gil, who already had a HR in the game, sent one to deep RF and for a moment, we thought we had a game winner but the ball carried just to the wall where the GT's HC's son slammed against the wall to make the game-ending catch.
The GT reliever...Hughes...was so fired up he took off his glove and slammed it to The Mark light turf. If I'm a Cane...that would fire me up for the rest of the series. It's not stepping on our logo but....
