A very weak foreign policy speech yesterday. Sure, he is going to tell Putin what to do. If you believe that, you would believe Miami -20 against Alabama! He is all bluster and no substance.

LOL. I stopped at vaccine. Trump gets it done 12 months ahead of schedule, based on the "experts" prediction last March, and nary a word of acknowledgment.
These guys have so much misplaced anger. They should be upset with cheeto boy and the Republican leadership for failing to process the data they were given. They chose to run on a antiquated platform and follow a egomaniac that has no self control or empathy for anyone other than himself. They gonna be even more pissed when Democrats control the government for the next decade. If dont change and adapt their way of politics they will have no one to blame but themselves. I wish they would get it together cause I actually like Republican fiscal ideas more than Democrats.
Funding vaccine research isn't exactly "getting it done". You still need a plan to actually vaccinate people, which Trump completely ignored. Of course, none of this has anything to do with Joe Biden, the current President of the United States - whose actions are receiving wide spread support from the American people.
The vaccine wasn't even announced until after the election Raoul...just coincidence I'm sure. Again, EVERY expert said we wouldn't even have a vaccine until Fall of this year. So to recap, we've now had 34 million doses administered 12 months ahead of schedule thanks to Operation Warp Speed, not Biden. Maybe someone will put that on one of his note cards...

So, when Barry and Plantation Joe were in charge and ignored Ukraine's pleas to us for weapons when Russia invaded them, was that how we show strength as Americans? When they ignored their own diplomats and advisors about Ukraine, was that a sign of how Joe will follow advice? Putin must be pissing his pants in fear over Dementia Joe being in charge.
I don't ever remember any president from either party kiss the asses of dictators like Trump did. Just a ultra weak president.
Ultra weak is when you ignore your diplomats and advisers that were begging you to send weapons to an ally, Ukraine, as Putin was attacking them. Ultra weak is when you draw fake lines in the sand with no willingness or backbone to enforce them. Ultra weak is when you go on a worldwide apology tour and bow down for American greatness, although with Barry I'm surprised he didn't curtsy to them.

We have allies! Get it through your skull. It's not just about you and we ask these people to sacrifice human lives over a Republican lie. Weapons of mass destruction were not found. Our allies were killed over this lie. An apology shows strength. Not weakness. Not apologizing when you do something wrong is Both weak and morally bankrupt. The dismissive attitude and lack of gratitude towards our allies is embarrassing.
I think what we're seeing here is you inventing your own reality because you don't like Obama. If you were objective, you would consider the reality that we are in now, which is a situation where our power has been eroded because of Trump's instability, which is reflected in every survey of how other countries feel about us.
Did Barry ever get around to apologizing to our ally Ukraine for abandoning them when they were begging us to help them? I'm glad to see that you agree that your effeminate hero is both weak and morally bankrupt. Of course we already knew that by the way that he used the IRS as his political henchmen and by the way that he used the NSA to illegally spy on American citizens.

There's really not much else Obama could've done in Ukraine. He could've sent weapons in and Putin would've simply invaded the rest of Ukraine and taken it over. Short of starting a war between the US and Ukraine, there's not a whole lot else that could've been done.

LOL. You quite obviously don't understand how foreign policy works. The President makes the call on big decisions that affect US interests, not random low level diplomats. The fact that you bizarrely pivoted to Syria in a Ukraine discussion suggests you really need to educate yourself about these matters before attempting to discuss them with people who have actually worked in the field.
The trouble with some of these people is they are hypnotized by misinformation by opinion hosts on Fox and Talk Radio, then scamper in here to talk about it as if its factual information. In this case, it appears we have some one who is still traumatized by PTSD that a black guy won the Presidency
I brought up Syria to show a pattern of cowardice with Barry that can't help but to be noticed by anyone that was paying attention. Presidents make the call but have people advising them on things that they may not have time to know enough about. If that had been Trump ignoring his experts you would have been on here crying, Orange Man Bad. ls it really too much to ask that both sides are held to the same standards? How many lies is Quid Pro Joe up to already? They are counting them, right?

We weren't going to invade Ukraine, nor were we going to create a situation that incentivized Putin to take over the entire country by arming the Ukrainians during the heat of the Crimea and Donbass crisis. So short of inflicting economic sanctions (as we did), there was nothing else that could've been done without escalating the crisis further. Ukraine simply wasn't important enough to get into a hot war with Russia over. The same thing applies to Syria - short of arming some of the anti-Assad forces in the east of the country, we were probably never going to war with Syria by invading them as we did in Iraq.
So, instead just sit back and watch our ally get invaded by another country? About what I would expect from those that have such an effeminate coward as as Barry for their hero. Those whopping sanctions that Barry levied against Russia scared them so much that they then proceeded to interfere with our next presidential election. Putin must have laughed his ass off every time Barry the community organizer spoke on the world stage.
How much of an ally are they ? Are they a part of NATO ? No. Are they a candidate to join NATO, no they're not (because Putin would freak out). Are we friendly with them ? Yes. Are we friendly with most of the world ? Yes. Is it our policy to get into wars each time a foreign country is invaded or bullied by another foreign country ? No.
So how many countries do we let Russia invade before we finally do something about their aggression? John F Kennedy must have rolled over in his grave a few times over what a spineless coward Barry turned out to be as president. By the time Dementia Joe is done Russia will probably control half the world.
It's not about me or how I would have handled them. It is about who we elected and how they handle.
Military action is only one of several responses that can be done. You can also put in place sanctions on Putin, his oligarchs, you can work with European states to cancel key projects with the Russians - for example France cancelled delivery of a couple of warships it built for Putin as a result of the Crimea invasion. Germany is currently under pressure to cancel the Nordstream II pipeline as a result of Putin's poisoning of Navalny. You can also make Europe natural gas independent so they don't rely on Russian gas to keep them warm in the winter. Then there's the nuclear option of removing Russia from the SWFT banking system, which would absolutely devastate their economy. Putin's entire power structure is based around his oligarchs, so it would be much easier to harm him through targeted sanctions without the need to engage in a hot war with the Russians.
Those big bad sanctions that Barry placed on Russia made them so scared that they then proceeded to interfere in our next presidential election. The White House laundry team must have been constantly busy cleaning soiled underwear while Barry was in office. The limp wristed community organizer was so far over his head on the world stage and Putin knew that he owned Barry.
The sanctions he put in place were fairly limited. The idea is that you can keep adding additional sanctions that continue to tighten the noose around Putin. Biden still has the option to do this, especially since the Russians have since worked to interfere in the 2016 elections.
