99% of media reports are contrived BS. Yet most people are too stupid to think for themselves.
It actually gets worse.... the conversation was secretly recorded, someone mischaracterized what was said (the reporter never heard the tape), and then the recording was deleted. Luckily, an open records request found it in a Trash that was never emptied.

Only in the alternate universe where you dwell. The only reason right wingers seek to discredit the mainstream media is because they accurately cover the news, and when an outlet gets new information, they immediately print a correction. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Its a nothing story coordinated by the right wing lie machine. If you go to the actual Wapo page, the tape they published is still incredibly incriminating against Trump. They're just attempting to gaslight their flock of lobotomized sheep into not believing Trump engaged in criminal behavior prior to the inevitable indictment.

You're missing the point if you think we are disputing a correction - which isn't news outside of right wing media who are desperate to make it look like media reporting is not trustworthy (just like fascist regimes do). If you listen to the tape on the page, it is incredibly incriminating towards Trump. He's basically attempting to coax a state official to find votes to change the outcome of an election which is a crime.
They will nail him for this, which is why his stooges on twitter are puking up this nonsense to convince themselves the media aren't' trustworthy.
