The "global downturn" has given my wife and I a 300% increase in our portfolio since April. I hope you got in on the PURPLW stock that I mentioned in another thread on this that you were a part of. When I recommended it it was at roughly $1 per share and today it hovers around $3 per share.
I didn’t realize coronavirus was only in the US. You must not have realized there was a global economic shutdown due to.... the coronavirus!

This is truly earth shattering news, that all these environmental groups tainted by a slight case of radical socialism, would come out against Trump. No way! Shut the front door!
These are most likely the same environmental groups that got the Indians in Utah to fight to have Bears Ears National Monument created to help stem the looting and destruction of their tribal lands. Who would have ever thought that multitudes more people coming to see those lands due to the Monument status that they received would lead to even more destruction of those lands, which is what is happening to them now. Utah is already over 66% federally owned land, no need to lock up even more of that land to anything else but hiking, which discriminates against those that are disabled and want to enjoy the lands that belong to all Americans. The mere thought that dirt bikes will destroy the desert which has survived millions of years of earthquakes, fires, flooding, and all sorts of other natural disasters borders on insanity.

Let's stick with facts and facts alone. The steel industry is back making America trillions. It's also spewing a ton of pollution. It's good business but bad for the environment. If you didn't grab a couple shares shame on you. I can admit the steel industry is a monster when it comes to pollution but it's also been paying monster dividends.
I will explain for at least the tenth time. Rising debt levels were already a problem before the virus. Debt in 2019 was 50% higher than that during the height of the Great Financial Crisis!
