When Laranaga arrived at UM from G. Mason he was highly touted as a "big time" defensive basketball coach, this years team shows flashes of a good defensive team but has been totally inconsistent. FSU player sets record over 30 points in 4 minutes.
Defense was AWOL. Take a team like Virginia, now thats defensive basketball, kinda boring but when you hold a team to 40 points for the whole game, thats defense. We need a complete turnaround to make the dance. Not optimistic.
