The guy was 145-51 over 15 years at UGA...ie averaged 9.7 wins per year. Was OC at FSU during their peak in the 90's. The starting point was not even close relative to Shannon, Golden or Diaz. And the UM accomplishments completely separate him from the others as well.
While at UM, he championed massive facility upgrades that put us in a very good spot going forward. I know some of you have been there but I have walked the entire facility and it is very nice and 1 million miles away from where we were. He also convinced the administration to pay a $4m salary when we had never even touched $3m.

On the field, he:
- Won the first ACC Coastal ever
- Had a 15 game winning streak
- Finished 2 of the 3 years in the top 15
- Had us a #2 going into the final week of his second season
- Was 4-4 against ranked teams
- 2-2 against top 10
- Won our first bowl game in 15 years
- Stopped the 6 game FSU winning streak and beat them 2 of 3 years and missed extra point loss in the first
- Highest win % and ACC win % of the 4 coaches
- Took us to 3 bowl games in 3 years including first Orange Bowl (Big 6 bowl) since 2004.
