Like many, I rooted for UVA to beat FSU. It happened, by a small margin.
Looking ahead, UVA’s victory strongly underlines our absolutely essential need to beat the Cavaliers. If we beat them, both of us will have one ACC loss (I’m assuming we beat a depressed VT). But, we will have won the head to head. If we lose to UVA, we will have two ACC losses (vs none for UVA) plus a defeat in the head to head matchup.
Don’t think we can recover in the Coastal from a two loss deficit. UVA, like us, has a very weak ACC schedule. We could win out and still place second in the Coastal.
