In Four Years of NOTABLE WINS:
2011- An Ohio State team which finished 7-6 and had a FRESHMAN Braxton Miller (in a pro-style) and an inconsistent Bauserman.
2011- A Georgia Tech team which finished 8-5 and had I think Vad Lee or Sims at Quarterback (wow lol)
2011- A Duke team which finished 3-9 and had a freshman Anthony Boone and junior Sean Renfree
2012- An NC State team which finished 7-6 but DID have Mike Glennon who had a monster year that year
2012- A Duke team which finished 6-7 and again had an average senior quarterback in Sean Renfree
2013- A Florida team which finished 6-7 and had a terrible Jeff Driskel and roster full of scrubs
2013- A UNC team which finished 7-6 which had two average quarterbacks splitting time because of performance and injury
2014- A Duke team which finished 9-3 but had an average and overachieving Anthony Boone at quarterback
2014- A Virginia Tech team which finished 7-6 and had a below average quarterback in Brewer
In Four Years Of NOTABLE LOSSES:
2011- A Kansas State team which finished #15 10-3, led by Colin Klein, 2011 Big XII Honorable Mention. Klein went for three total touchdowns against us that game, and over 200 all purpose yards.
2011- A Virginia Tech team which finished #21 11-3, led by Logan Thomas, who through for over 3,000 yards that year and finished Second-Team All ACC. Against US that year, Thomas had FIVE TOUCHDOWNS and threw for over THREE HUNDRED YARDS against Al Golden/D'Onofrio's soft-served vanilla ice cream defense.
2012- A Kansas State team which finished #12 11-2, led by Colin Klein, a Heisman candidate who had over 3,500 all-purpose yards and 39 Touchdowns that year. Against US, Klein sliced and diced Al Golden/D'Onofrio's soft-served vanilla ice cream defense by racking up FOUR TOUCHDOWNS including three on the ground.
2012- A Notre Dame team which finished #4 12-1, led by a sophmore Golson who had a decent season that season and against US, of course, completing 77% of his passes, NOT turning the ball over, and racking up more than 200 total yards.
2013- A Florida State team which finished #1 14-0, led by Jameis, who for the first quarter, was held in check. But then, the dreaded in-game adjustments came, and Jameis and Jimbo countered Golden/D'Onofrio, and Jameis ultimately threw for over 300 yards and completed 70% of his passes, not to mention the 11 for 15 third down conversions Florida State had against our defense that game. James went #1 overall in the Draft.
2013- A Louisville team which finished #15 12-1, led by Teddy, who had a FIELD DAY against Golden/D'Onofrio, throwing for more than FOUR HUNDRED YARDS and a total of FOUR TOUCHDOWNS... LMFAO... All of this after Alverage FoldenZook had about a month to prepare for Louisville and Teddy. I'll never forget that drive leaving a cold and ugly Orlando night...
2014- A Nebraska team which finished 9-4, led by Tommy Armstrong, who had over 3,000 all purpose yards that year and against US, threw for two touchdowns and ran for another 90-100 more...
2014- A Georgia Tech team which finished #8 11-3, led by Justin Thomas, who had approximately 2,800 yards and over 25 total touchdowns; to Golden's CREDIT, this was only game against a QUALITY quarterback which we actually were actually able to stifle.
2014- A Florida State team which finished #3 13-1, led by Jameis, who did not have a star-studded day, but did AGAIN throw for over 300 yards against us, including the third quarter touchdown pass which started the comeback.
^^^ That is Golden and D'Onofrio's track record against notable quarterbacks during their regime here... That is the work product of man and a failed regime which has been in place for FOUR YEARS and has played over FIFTY GAMES.
Simply stated, Golden and D'Onofrio have really only beaten ONE quarterback worth a damn on a GOOD TEAM in FOUR YEARS HERE, and that was Justin Thomas from Georiga Tech, a flexbone triple option quarterback at that... Year after year, game after game, loss after loss against QUALITY quarterbacks, Golden/D'Onofrio have FAILED where the REAL quality coaches have succeeded, which is finding ways to beat, or even significantly LIMIT that opposing offense's quarterback.
Yet the few and far between remaining Golden loyalists, who live in this constant DELUSIONAL and DERANGED state of blind optimism and irrational homerism, will come on this Board with their misguided moral authority and claim that all of this accumulated and constant criticism is an unwarranted barrage from fake Hurricane fans... LMAO... Well, what I and the vast majority of Hurricane fans who actually live in the REAL WORLD will say to that is too f**king bad baby... lol...
I think I see the Golden loyalists scrambling around right now trying to counter this one- alarms are sounding off in the background, red lights are flashing, phones are ringing off of their respective hooks, and pro-Golden agenda papers are flying off desks and on the floor amidst CHAOS in the Golden Loyalist Headquarters ("GLH")... The spin, the excuse making machine, and the blind loyalty to Golden is ova!
