My discussion with a Recruits dad just 5 minutes ago, I think it speaks volumes to what Manny is dealing with
If they fire Manny my son going somewhere else don’t make no sense to me. We haven’t been good or relevant in 19 years we have 1 ten win season in the last 15 years. Two more years won't hurt us as a coach i think 3 years no changes you fired. To me that’s fair you have a chance to recruit your guys, a year for them to catch up with the speed of the game and then the third year perform or you gone. After meeting these guys i feel different they just ordinary people like us trying to make it. Manny doing the best he can with what he got. The whole team smoke weed and party all the time this group of guys don’t do that and that’s why he recruited this particular group to try and change things and the only guy out of the group to smoke weed with the rest of the team that night was the kid that flipped to Nebraska
