I think we hang with them for a while with the corrections being made by Saban and his staff being the difference maker.
I personally can’t bet against my canes but I’ll be interested in seeing the line. I’m still kicking my self in the head for taking us to cover against Clemson last year. I know for a fact our coach’s and most of our players and coach’s (not so much our wr’s and ol) put everything they had in that game and I knew they would. I just thought we’d at least cover. The spread was like 14. Fortunately i won my money back on the pool table. Our players are just so undisciplined and always seem to make stupid mistakes at the worst times. I can promise you that bama like clemson last year will not take us lightly from an execution stand point.
saban won’t even try and out x’s and o’s us. He’ll try and beat us with very little respect and a very vanilla game plan and just put it on his players to beat us strait up. If he senses weakness he’ll go for the jugular and it’ll get ugly like in the lsu game a couple years ago. Going to be very difficult if not impossible not to give up big plays against them.
More like the Clemson game that got Golden fired or Clemson 2020 with a garbage TD or two later instead

If we are going to hang with Bama we have to at least be 2nd & 6, if 2nd & 10 its a 3 & out. If we can be 2nd & 6 Bama will have to play honest against the run. We also have to take shots vertically. Bama has 9 starters returning on defense. Surtain ll and DL Barmore are headed to the NFL. If we can keep their D on the field, The new QB Bryce Young will have a tough time getting into a rhythm. They lost 3 starters on the OL, QB Jones, RBs Najee Harris and Brian Robinson, WR DeVonta Smith, Jalen Waddle, TEs Miller Forrestal & Carl Tucker. Also lost 4 asst coaches.
UCLA 98 would be another option. Sadly, I think the score will be similar to Miami v Bama in 93.
