Go Blue - Michigan (under fire!)

Michigan yeah man. I’ve hated them since I was a kid. We have had so many close games over the years, recruiting battle for kids in the same high schools. Top rival for sure.

Must be some race baiting in the article that OP wants to prove some irrational point with but no one is buying his BS anymore. Good.

It's ironic that you're the first and only one to mention race. Pot meet kettle.

That’s it. That’s your big rival citation from WA?! Lol. Dude at least once a year we battle someone from places like Michigan that doesn’t make them a rival.
No, it’s why it’s not irrelevant. He is the most important recruit on campus.

if you’re ok with sex scandals at Michigan just skip the thread. I hope it gets more attention and costs them the OL and the OC

Lol yeah me disagreeing that Michigan is a rival makes me okay with sex scandals. I can’t tell how you vote with that logic. Lol. No hard feelings buddy was just saying Michigan isn’t a rival. It really isn’t a big deal, shouldn’t have even said anything it’s trivial. The story itself. Terrible though.

Rival? Is this a joke
I’ll redact rival because of the implication, how about a program we are competing with for a lead player and target essential coaching position. Is that better? I can concede the connotation of the rival created a colloquial overreach. I do feel it was a relevant post.

Michigan is hardly our rival
Thats right we played michigan a couple of times in the 80s splitting the series. Both games were up there, they refused a home and home series with UM so my guess is UM told them to go to hell.
FWIW: Before UM became great they had no problem scheduling home and home series with power five teams then came Schnelly and JJ and everything changed. Schools agreed to play but UM had to play at their home. Scheduling became a problem so UM gave up their independent status and went into the ACC with FSU's help.

WOW! Someone posts a well written, currently relevant article relating to college football and people complain about their amazingly exciting lives being interupted by a post that they might not personally care about. SMH

Does this board really need more posts about:
* Where are the new OC & DC.
* What does this 2025 recruits tweet mean?
* Trump sux.
* Biden pooped in his pants again.

There is a wonderful feature on this board. You can not click on a thread that doesn't interest you or move on from a post that you don't like for whatever reason.

IMO, this thread brings visability to a number of important subjects that deserve visability. There were a lot a people harmed by people and systems they should be able to trust. For the most part the villians receive significant public funding, aka tax dollars. A lot of powerful people in positions of responsibility chose to look the other way. Jon Vaughn is one courageous man.
