A friend of mine mentioned his name and although I say no( look at the cons) I thought it was worth discussion.
Pros:

74% career win rate as HC at UGA( 136-48) with a 9-5 bowl record
2 SEC titles and 6 SEC east titles 2-1 in BCS games
Over the last 10 years he has avg a top 10 recruiting class(8) with the highest finish being 4th and lowest 15th.
Cons:
Like golden he can be loyal to a fault. Admin made him fire willie Martinez and make staff changes
gets a good amount of the talent in Ga but still lets far too many elite players get away. Only in state comp is ga tech which is hardly comp.
despite talent and recruiting rankings loses far too many games that they should not lose.
Struggles to be the dominant team in sec east even though it's the weaker side.
Loses too many games to GA even though they are more talented
While richt has an impressive record and recruits fairly well I still feel he underachieves the most. Most people will say the sec has great coaches and is tuff but other coaches have come in and won in less time then Mark has been at GA.
Recently got a raise to $4 mil/ yr
