My opinion is this may a well orchestrated plan to take pressure of certain members of the BOT who might be politically or financially affected by firing Manny and are being allowed to leak support to show solidarity. That might even include Fernandez and Echevarria yukking it up in the locker room after the game. Nothing likethis happened with Golden or even Shannon who truly could say he had real Miami connections. The AD “ making the decision “ is the way out of this mess and will likely be told Manny is toast and you just have to make it public. Take it FWIW. UM politics and decision making has never been transparent.
