The new expectations in the first year are as following:
Coastal, very confident
Acc title?
Top 25 finish, a given
Fsu victory, a given
Clemson win?
Wins over top 25 teams, a given
A bowl win?
Competitive game against a&m
10 wins?

It’s realistic to assume we’re going to be good in our first year and only get better from there.

the more miami wins the crazy nil is going to be. I just don’t see how some of these blue blood programs in less than populous states are going to keep up. We’re basically entering the era of pro sports and the big market teams always have an edge because they always follow the money trail to where there’s the most money at the end of the day.

what separates us from some of these other blue blood programs like penn st, uf, fsu, notre dame etc is that we a actually have great coaching.

the age old adage of chicken or the egg is recruiting vs coaching. We’re about to have both. This is where the money is and round and round we go. Miami is about to be the premier big market “pro” college football program.
