5. Libs are using gerrymandering to carve out their preferred school districts.

EDUCATION
Illinois. Chicago has gerrymandered itself into more than 140 school districts to funnel money into the wealthiest of neighborhoods.

Connecticut done similarly.

TAXATION
Washington. This is among the most Liberal of all states. It is also the state i8n which the lower income earners pay the bulk of the state's taxes. There are all sorts of tax breaks for the wealthy. The Lib states with the most tax inequality are 1. Wa, 5. NE, 8. IL. You may correctly note that the rest of this list would fill in with Red states. The real question though is, why are there any Blue states on the list at all?

Why you have Lib Congress-millionaires standing up and saying tax the rich---Warren and Saunders, for sure---meaning billionaires, not them.

HOUSING
California. As Liberal a state as there is in existence. Strongly Liberal, Palo Alto, has voted to rezone a plot that was to be used to build senior housing to single unit housing. Each home having a value in excess of $5 million.

I don't TRUST any party, that's why I'm Independent. HOWEVER, the Democratic party is the ONLY one that even pretends to be concerned with building the trust of blacks and securing the vote. You can't give blacks your azz to kiss when it comes to most matter important to black folks, then expect the vote at the ballot box. The Dems at least PRETEND to be concerned, hence that's where 90% of the vote goes. JMHO

Here is a perfect example of talking the talk but coming up short on walking the walk. points #1, 3 & 4 is best illustrated seeing how Texas Gov Abbott pulled a $4M stunt and costing his own state while helping New Mexico. It also involves Mexico and Canada. What links all this together although this no longer links Texas. Recently the Gov of Texas engaged in a little political stunt out on the border, which backed up trade coming from Mexico. Estimates suggests this ploy cost Texas $4.2B, which included $240M in spoiled produce. Pretty big deal. The point or purpose of the stunt was to perform inspections on Trucks coming up from the border, inspections that had already been performed by the Federal Govt. It is worth noting that as far as whats been reported these inspections ordered by Gov Abbott failed to turn up drugs and stopping undocumented people.
In what appears to be a response to this, The Minister for Mexico's economy has decided the the TMEX railroad will no longer go thru El Paso. It will avoid Texas completely and in all likelihood and looks like it will go thru Santa Theresa, NM. This will result in Billions of dollars of lost revenue for Texas. How much is anybody's guess. Its a lot of addition.
This rail line will run from Mexico to Winnipeg, Canada. And rather than going thru Texas, and adding to the economy there, it will now bypass Texas and go to New Mexico. The fallout from Gov Abbott's moves along the border will continue to grow. The economic damage will continue to grow. This is a huge chunk of $$$$ that Texas is losing out on, so the gov can act as though he is actually doing something about a situation that in many ways he has blown out of proportion. It is a method of convincing Texans to do other and kick down. It might have worked had it not cost so much $$$$, had it not taken so much money out of the pockets of Texans, in a time when the average person needs more. They cant afford more losses. This is going to weigh heavily on Gov Abbott's re-election chances. And as the fallout continues and added up, there will be advertisements from Abbott's challengers who are Democrats detailing how much $$$$ he has cost the state. Abbott's stunt has cost the state nearly 30,000 jobs. This is a culmination of lost jobs leading to unemployment, meaning where will these people live? Potentially 30,000 homeless without earnings to pay rent, some unable to pay property taxes, their spouses and children without a roof over their heads. This of course leads to economic disparity and quite quickly.
Abbott's purpose was to create a shortage in the supply chain and as we all know shortages lead to higher prices. Then Abbott will quickly point the finger at the Biden administration being responsible for this.
It also begs the question : does Abbott really give a flying F_ _K about his people, his state and its economy. He obviously has sacrificed the people of Texas' well being. "NOT IN MY BACKYARD" Really???? Abbott may be planning more of these stunts and it will cost him and the people of Texas.

Gov. Abbott is a bit too far the Right for my taste. But to take his attempt to buffer the great State of Texas from Biden's failure to protect our border is just parroting an uninformed Liberal talking point.

Santa Teresa, NM is a suburb of El Paso. If this plan is enacted and it's a boost to NM, God Love them. NM's economy needs a boost.

The same US employees now servicing this import/export flow from Mexico, will continue. It's called commuting for 20 minutes. Not like swimming from one island to another.

Texas could use a dose of Biden staying out of our energy sector. We were exporters, now we import. He's blaming Putin...JOE BIDEN created this situation. We could have been helping to supply the rest of the importers. Instead, Biden had us join them.

As for your assessment on $$$$ for school districts, so why do we put our entire schooling system in the hands of the extremely greedy????!!!! So what happens when a school system goes bankrupt due to their mismanagement of school funds????!!!! What happens to the students of said district????!!!! Repubs and their cronies were crying their butts off about public schools closing due to COVID-19 restrictions. Now that the danger is over and their belief the political winds are changing they are back to claiming "public schools are bad, private schools are the epitome of education" like they were before. Lets get one thing straight with the repub party: They have no real convictions, loyalty, honesty or trust in anything other than DJT and the almighty dollar. Lets not get it twisted , the sanctity of human life has never been high up on their list of priorities. These fascist pigs will try to invent various ways to indoctrinate the young, even at the expense of those people who reside in underserved communities. Also, in the eyes of Evangelicals public education equals "woke".
In the case of FL Gov Ron DeSantis signing of on a bill that forbids numerous books in its classrooms, its aim is create a disparity between Private and Public schools. By banning books in schools it will give students attending private school students a huge advantage in furthering their education. The hope is to have a public school system hanging by a thread, resulting in students with wealthy parents attending Charter schools running rings around those that attend public school systems. That way these students will think along the lines of the Right and be able to control those that dont have the luxury of attending private schools. Its no secret Charter schools are afforded funds that are for public schools. It now becomes convenient for these fortunate ones to not have to deal with conflicting facts. They want to keep less educated folks corralled so they remain uneducated, clueless on the world they live in. DeSantis wants to keep fueling his culture war as well as accommodating wealthy kids, to have a type of feudal society , serfdom. Lets not forget the vouchers funded by taxpayer $$$$.
Nothing wrong with public education. Scotland has a free public education system. I honesty believe DeSantis is trying to lay the groundwork, foundation for all states that have Charter schools in the hope that public school systems will be over run, overwhelmed. He is hoping for every state to become a Red State. Lets see how many red states but into his warped plan.
