So I was told countless times that we improved from year 1 to year 2 bcuz we didn’t lose to teams like Duke and FIU and LA Tech, we beat the teams we were supposed to. We didn’t belong on the field against Clemson and UNC and the first half against OK State. So I asked “wouldn’t improvement from year 2 to year 3 be to at least be respectable against a top tier team?” And was told “we will! Don’t be a fan later!”….. so I ask now where’s the improvement? One of my biggest criticisms of Manny is he’s an awful coach when there’s time between games. That hasn’t improved. He took over the defense, which is one of the most experienced in the country with the amount of players returning and then added 2 5 star players and multiple 4 star players to it. A defense that he has been running and looking over since the 2016 season. Was told that he will fix the problems that were all Bakers fault. No improvement. So what’s the excuses now? “See if we win the coastal”….what happens when we don’t? Lol “see if we beat FSU”? So my ultimate question is this: When do you put your foot down to the mediocrity that keeps being shown and say enough is enough?
