If you think Corey Booker is too far left you don't really know anything about him. He is very popular among the base as a moderate. His time will come in this next election cycle or the following. Please don't look at a persons skin color and party and automatically think they are Obama. Obama was a moderate. He wasn't far left either. The far left hated a lot of what Obama did. Especially along the border, with guns on federal land, and not punishing wall street. Black people don't all think alike.

I think part of the reason he would get his ass kicked is because white DEMOCRATS wouldn't vote for him is because of the beating they took under Obama, ESPECIALLY white union households in the rust belt/midwest, in the jobs/income departments. under Obama, that POS advocated for open borders which allowed ILLEGAL immigrants to come in this country and drive wages down to rock bottom prices. Also under Obama, foreign trade deals killed white union households by shipping textile, steel, and coal jobs out of this country. it is why Trump flipped 23 counties in Wisconsin alone. It is why Trump won Erie effing County in northwest Pennsylvania and nearly won your boy Joe Biden's hometown of Scranton. It is why in part blacks in Detroit stayed home in droves but some literally followed Debnis effing Rodman to the polls and voted for Trump as Trump flipped Michigan.

The party lost seats because they sacrificed them on behalf of the American people to get some kind of improved healthcare plan through. It's called leadership!
