Absolutely, positively, certainly not making excuses for this loss. I haven't been as dejected after a loss as I am with this one in a very long time. None of the losses lately have bothered me very much as I've become kind of numb to it but for some reason this one hurt, badly.
I'm just asking though... does anyone else think it looked like one of the UVA players who dove to try to block the kick hit Borregales? It wasn't much if so but I thought it looked like one of their guys did, looked like his plant leg I believe. Maybe enough for a running into the kicker which I would think would be any contact at all to the kicker. Or maybe dude was just laying there already as Borregales was coming down after the follow-through, Idk.
I'm really just curious if I'm the only one who thought that. Please don't call me a pumper or excuse-maker or anything like that 😂
