Inflation rose 7% in December...

Funny how we never heard about inflation or supply chain disruption while Trump was President. Inflation Trump's last quarter 1.4%.
%
Trump was president during a long period of low inflation. We are currently in a period of record-setting global inflation.

No need to spread your lies. We already got you on this.
You don't have me on anything. You claimed the Covid lockdowns caused the recession. Data shows we were in recession before the lockdowns and Trump made it worse with his handling of the coronavirus!

Wrong. GDP grew less than expected in Jan, then started shrinking after the virus arrived and after lockdowns. Your dishonesty knows no bounds.

Coming from you that’s a complement, misinformation Mikey. I love how you ignore that CNN article that quotes the NBEC.
Like you ignore the conclusion by the NBER that the U.S. was in recession before Covid lockdowns?

The trillion or what ever was suppose to be billions for ppp so small businesses like mine could keep producing. The dems wouldn’t pass it unless it was a trillion plus with all their non covid related goodies in it so the repubs passed it because they had no choice. A trillion dollars alone is enough to make every citizen in this country a multi millionaire and clearly that didn’t happen.

at the end of the day people still aren’t working which means there’s no manufacturing, truck drivers, ware house faculty, etc. if anything the supply chain is worse now than it was a year ago. I still have basic shit on back order every week like you wouldn’t believe. There are still shit tons of fraters off the coast of California that can’t import because there’s not enough people to process. Doesn’t matter if it’s the medical field or the auto trade, construction materials or food, wine, beer and spirits. That’s just the importing side of it. It’s one thing to not be able to get fiji, bacardi, stela, patron, etc but it’s another thing to still not be able to get a ton of these things that are domestic. It’s literally everything and every place everywhere besides big tech are short staffed.

The National Bureau of Economic Research concluded that the U.S. was in a recession before Covid lockdowns. Whose wrong, you or them? I'll take their word over your BS!
Over a trillion was injected (unanimously) for less than half of what was needed for covid relief. There’s less than half a billion people in the whole country. Your point is moot. People still aren’t working. Every industry, government and big tech aside are short staffed. Even in government there are a ton of municipalities like schools and police depts that are beyond short staffed. I have a bar tender that just told me that he’s two courses short of graduating with a bach degree but the school keeps telling him that they don’t have enough teachers for his courses so he needs to hang on. You’re reaching here. Why are you so abtruse to what’s going on? What gives? You can’t like what you’re seeing so why do you keep justifying it as the way things should be?

My point is factual. It was wrongly asserted that lockdowns caused the recession. We were already in recession. What I keep justifying is that facts not be distorted to support someones narrative. Why would you have a problem with that?

The pandemic caused the recession, which included the lockdowns. Why continue to deny this?

Data proves otherwise. Why continue to deny reality?
It doesn’t. That’s what is so odd about your persistence. NBER recession indicators began in March 2020, the start of the lockdowns:

Most definitions of recession are economic slowdown of several months. Economic slowdown of one month before lockdown would not be considered a recession by many economists.

One month is not a recession. Look it up.
While a recession is usually defined by multiple months of economic contraction, the NBER concluded "the unprecedented magnitude of the decline in employment and production and its broad reach across the entire" warranted the designation. Look it up!

"I expect mo less"? The illiterate at it again. I see you also didn't respond to the data I sent you. I really didn't expect a response because it was from Faux News so I knew you couldn't belittle the source!

Are you ignoring the fact that the economy grew at 33.4% in the third quarter of 2020 when we started to get the beginning of handling Covid. BTW Trump was President. Covid was here before the lockdown, and it effected the economy. What is your point?

It was claimed by one of your comrades that lockdowns caused the recession. My point is that we were already in recession before the lockdowns. Simple as that. Have you ignored all the data I've posted attesting to that fact? My sources were ridiculed and you even accused me of sourcing Rachel Maddow. My last post was from Faux News and I've received no responses after that.

'I see against you can't respond to real data". Total illiterate! You need to take an English refresher course! Are you a HS drop-out? You can't post a coherent sentence.

Typical response from someone who can’t argue the point with real data. Keep up the horrible job, Misinformation Mikey
