I am watching the game against South Carolina right now and we did not get much movement in the line and when played good d lines like Virginia, louisville, florida, vt in2013, and against Fsu in fourth quarter whe it mattered we failed to run the ball effectively, even though we had the threat of a decent passing game. Teams were not necessarily stacking the box either. I don't know why either, because everyone is always mentioning how good flowers, feliciano and McDermott was solid with experience. Before that in 2013 we had Linder and Henderson. All these guys are considered talented and 3 of them will be starting for nfl teams next year. So I am not sure what gives, is it predictable offensive play calling, our backs not as good as we think, kehoes run blocking techniques and scheme, or simply our ol overrated in the run game. I don't know the reason, but I know we never dominated any good d line and I see our ol miss a lot of assignments and get pushed back als

That is why I am not concerned too much this year about our oline as far as running the ball because not much room for a drop off. In fact I want to see if these new oline are nastier and
excel better in the run game the last two years. Not that concerned about oline in run game.
Pass protection is a different story, except against louisville our ol held up very good, but I think kehoe teaches pass protection better than run blocking so I think we will be okay as the season moves along.
