BEGGING us to take the Coastal Division.

UVA: 3-0 good, not great team. We clearly have the better athletes.
UNC: 2-1, first year HC, frosh QB, marginal offensive weapons. Beat us.
Duke: 2-1, lost to Bama by 40, and have 2 victories over garbage teams.
VT: 2-1, lost to an above average BC team, beat lowly Old Dominion by 14, and Furhman by 7.
GT: 1-2, Lost to Clemson by 40, barely beat an offensive inept USF, lost to lowly Citadel.
Pitt: 1-2, have played to good teams in UVA and Penn State, but beat a below average Ohio by only 10.

I don't think that it is a hyperbolic statement to say that this is the worst Power-5 Division in college football. Frankly, this is the worst I have ever seen the Coastal Division in the 10-12 years or whatever it has been, that we have been in the ACC. And here we are, one month into the season, 1-2, 0-1 in the ACC, and scoring a total of 13 points in 3 1st Quarters, and people are all giggly about hanging 63 on a lowly D-II (or FCS or whatever it is called these days) program up in Daytona Beach.

You can take a LOT of positives from that Bethune game, and they are duly noted in my post-game thread, but this is so frustrating to see a talented (yes, we have talent) Miami team having to scratch, claw, and climb our way back up the Coastal ladder which is full of nothing but 3 below average, 3 average, and 1 above average/good team in UVA. Just incredible. Be thankful we're not in the Atlantic, and FSU is in the Coastal.
