That’s exactly my point. We should have the right to say what we believe without fear of repercussions. The left wants to fight to keep the “right” to abortion legal but is just fine to silence any right to free speech they don’t agree with.

You tell me there is a thing called the constitution with your rights. Our forefathers fought and died for them right? One thing you need to understand is the constitution has been amended 27 times. Go look that up if you do not believe me. So, just because there is something in the constitution that doesn't mean it can't be amended. The thing was drawn up hundreds of years ago man. It says black people are 3 fifths of a man....LMAO. So, please don't quote this constitution as if it is the end all be all to all things in life. It isn't. Like anything else it can be amended if necessary.
Now, don't get me wrong. The document has been a great instrument of order but it is not infallible. I am not going to act like it is infallible. Because as great a document as it is what you have to remember is it was written by man. Man is not infallible.
So if it is more important for you to own a weapon because it is in the constitution you can to defend yourself when we were owned by the British even though it never mentioned weapons of war then you do you. That doesn't mean I am going to be okay with that though. Because it may infringe on my rights too. I think you can be a responsible gun owner who is qualified to have a gun rather than allowing people that have no business having them because it is in a document hundreds of years old.
