No chance. MJ and it's not very close. I couldn't stand MJ but there's no taking that away from him. Lebron may be the most skilled of all time, but he's just never been as comfortable in the clutch.

Watching this team in the Finals though, for the first time I got to see Kyrie play a lot. And honestly he's the perfect complement to LBJ. I always thought Kyrie was over-rated b/c whenever I happened to catch a game he was playing, he seemed totally one-dimensional. Too short and not athletic enough. But damn he is an assassin. Out-shot Curry and his co-bash brother, and more impressively he finished in the lane over and over.

And tonight...forget about it. He made everything he took in the lane, including some circus shots. I fckn hate that the Cavs won, but they deserved it.

He was incredible .As good a 3 game stretch as anyone in the NBA Championship series and Kyrie Irving Amazing as well.

They did but once again the guy some people claim is the GOAT played an average game for a person of his skill set. 2nd half stats 13 3 and 4. Super passive did not impose his will Kyrie did. Go check the real GOATS stats in close out games. Got outplayed by Green. By the way the GREAT shooter still not shooting great and making bad basketball IQ plays on top of it.

GOAT conversations are dumb. If you go by statistical dominance its Wilt Chamberlain. If you go by NBA titles its Russell. Stats and ships, its Kareem. The rest is just chatter.

Crazy criticism of LBJ. He had a triple double, 27, 11, 11, plus blocks, clutch blocks. Second all time in Finals triple doubles. He's 1a 1b with MJ.

Man o man what people will label a great performance he had 13 points 3 rebounds and 4 or 5 assists in the second half finished 8 for 19 and had 4 of those 13 in the last 2-3 min. Kyrie stepped up big time. That means until 3 min left in the 4th he had 9 points 3 boards and 5 assists in the half of that's not a fair criticism of someone who is supposedly pushing for GOAT or top 5 I don't know what is. I guess anybody can be in it hell put big shot Rob in there too

Went home and won a championship. Went down 3-1 and and he got serious. He did what he said he was going to do.. His personal stats speak for themselves

NOW, let's see if he opts out to another more desirable place to work. He stood far away from Dan Gilbert on the stage - no love lost there...

Thoughts ?

Los Angeles .... Miami ...... where else might he go, should he leave

This is a joke right? you should watch the game before you talk about it. You show nothing but your bias and hatred for all things LeBron. Its gonna be okay.

Finals MVP

Lebron would average 100 points a game back in the dinosaur days...

This. Since when is a triple double an "average game?" Plus, he had the key FT to seal it in the end.

I tend to agree that MJ is GOAT at this point in Lebron's career. Kobe is up there as well, along with Shaq, Wilt Russell, Magic, Bird, etc.

Delusional. A triple double is now average, particularly in the NBA finals and playing against one of the best teams of all time. Smoke up some more!

Maybe all those declarations of the West superiority and Lebron being average finally kick started the Cavs. Funny how things work out some times.

LA, Miami,,NY maybe even Chicago just to take some of MJ's limelight.

I like LBJ.....but keep in mind they're tons of Buckeye fans in Cleveland.......and yes, I still hold a grudge against Terry Porter and the fans so a Golden State win would have been another step towards closure.

Trump is a low class POS!!! King James baby!!!

Wow. Kid went from high school directly into a very tough environment .. the NBA. Never hear a story of Lebron related to any incident - married with a family and a role model for kids. No drugs or BS. Props to Lebron for an excellent .. really record setting .. series. Glad he came to Miami for 4 years and made Miami a relevant basketball town. Glad he was able to live the dream and go home .. and win a championship for a region that needs it. I believe this is the worst, most tasteless post y that JTH has made... calling Lebron a pos?? What??

I only wish LeBron had played The Bad Boys from Detroit Pistons, I bet he would had cry like a bitch that he is after 1st quarter.
Why is every comparison Lebron vs. an entire team? Apples and Oranges since the Pistons were the epitome of team effort back in their day. In today's game, most of their big men would have been ejected every game with the way fouls are called. Would be a great matchup, but I would take the Pistons given the team effort put in each night.

At this point its MJ 1a and Lebron 1b.....Lebron still has atleast 5-7 more quality years to top Jordan.

If you had to start a franchise with any one player in NBA history, I don't see how its not Lebron.

Triple double, game deciding block tied at 89-89, led his team back from 3-1 deficit.... You got to put feelings aside. Great effort to will this team to championship. Why aren't you guys criticizing curry the back to back MVP?

He will be criticized, and deservedly so. He did nothing last night and couldn't buy a shot. Too many games he was a non-factor. It will be interesting to see what is said about his injury. Didn't look like he was struggling with the knee but curious if that comes up.

Kerr is going to get criticism as well. It's easy to say "OK" when you're team is making shots, but when they're not and they're STILL playing "try to get open and fire up a shot" ball...it's not a good look. How about a few plays in there to try to get some good shots rather than rely on your guys to hit circus 3's? Too bad, they were a good story imo.

That Block alone stands above what almost any player in history could ever have made, much less a guy who also got a triple double while leading his team defensively.

Criticism of his decisions are open, I am no hater, but only a person with no knowledge or understanding of basketball would criticize his play.

Spot on state of Miami. Cleveland sold out to stop curry and Thompsons 3's. They should have penetrated or rode green till the wheels fell off

After MJ its tough to accurately round out a top ten. There's also Magic, Bird, Kobe, Kareem, Russel, Wilt, etc. Sure, some of those guys played in eras where the competition is not like it was after they played......but many of those guys played basketball during eras when basketball was played like football.

I couldnt believe what I was seeing. There was a good four-five minutes left when the circus threes were going up. Its one thing to take those shots when your down by ten or more....but man....that display was awful.
