Lebron Haters...

That Block alone stands above what almost any player in history could ever have made, much less a guy who also got a triple double while leading his team defensively.

Criticism of his decisions are open, I am no hater, but only a person with no knowledge or understanding of basketball would criticize his play.

Little known fact, Lebron led all players on both teams for the entire finals in scoring, rebounding, steals assists & block shots. (read, not verified). Brought back his team from 3-1 deficit which has NEVER been done and some guy now wants him to play the Detroit Pistons. I mean really. I'm am still LMAO

I have no problem saying that he is every bit the player Michael Jordan was. His career is not over yet either. He can win several more championships.

If the Cavs can unload Love and upgrade Shumpert,Smith Jefferson, Delladova. Frye. etc will quality veteran players, there is no reason that they won't be even better next year. Irving and Thompson will both improve and perhaps significantly.

The difference is that Jordan had the better team every single year he made the finals, Cavs and Heat not the case. Cavs never and the Heat perhaps half the time.

Agreed. The only time I thought Lebron had the better team was 2011 and 2012. He went 1-1 in those with the one loss falling on his shoulders.

Its funny that Lebron got all the slack when they weren't doing well because "he is the coach and the GM" yet today no one is praising him for his coaching or roster moves. Doesn't seem fair to me.

People want to tag LeBron with a finals loss last year, but he was without Love and Irving the entire series and still dragged his team into game 6. I know you referenced Curry's knee injury I'm willing to guess the Cav's have little sympathy.

I didn't reference Curry's injury.

First, I might argue that Steve Kerr was MVP for Cleveland of game 7.

Also, would it not be prudent to wait until LBJ gets another 4-6 years under his belt before he starts getting anointed best of all time? Right now he isn't even in the top 38 of individual championships, if only as a point of argument.

At 32K and 6, MJ is laughing at this conversation.............for now.

Triple double, game deciding block tied at 89-89, led his team back from 3-1 deficit.... You got to put feelings aside. Great effort to will this team to championship. Why aren't you guys criticizing curry the back to back MVP?

No one is criticizing Curry because it is absurd to even acknowledge that he is close to the MVP or worlds best basketball player. He is only the best shooter.

The whole idea of MVP needs to be rethought. In the last 20 years Lebron, Michael, Hakeem and Shaq have made a mockery of the MVP award. Lebron destroyed Curry two years in a row. Cavs lost last year but Lebron was a monster and a much better player.

Is the MVP now for the reigning second best player? So many times that's who it goes to.

This is how MVP should have been since 1990

James should have 8, Jordan should have minimum 7, Shaq should have 7, Karl Malone should have ZERO, Nash, Rose and Curry should have ZERO, Iverson ZERO. None of those ever were the best or most valuable player in the league. Never

2016 James over Curry
2015 James over Curry
2014 James over Durant- Close
2013 James won it
2012 James won it
2011 James easily over Rose A complete joke
2010 James won it
2009 James won it
2008 Bryant
2007 Nowitzki- hard topick that year. Dirk is underrated, great player who led a team to a championship.
2006 O'neal easily over Nash not even close, a total joke
2005 O'neal easily over Nash not even close, a total joke
2004 O'neal over Garnett, although close.I can see possibly giving to Garnett
2003 O'neal over Duncan
2002 O'neal over Duncan
2001 O'neal over Iverson
2000 O'Neal won it
1999 Duncan over Malone- Duncan was the better player that year and always.
1998 Jordan won it
1997 Jordan easily over Malone not even close, a total joke
1996 Jordan won it
1995 Olajuwon won it
1994 Olajuwon over Robinson- Close but no one who ever watched them both play thought Robinson was better.
1993 Jordan easily over Barkley not even close, a total joke
1992 Jordan won it
1991 Jordan won it
1990 Jordan over Magic- no sane person would have chosen Johnson over Jordan if they had first pick in an expansion draft. Only area Magic was better in was as a passer. Jordan owned every other aspect, even that season.

You're obviously getting high off of your own supply...haha Now i don't think Lebron has a chance to EVER be considered the top player in the history of the league but if he retired RIGHT NOW, he's a top10 player of all time...men and women lie, numbers don't...your individual championsip argument is bogus as f^k...for starters, he took a bunch of BUMS to the NBA finals in 2007-no other player on that team was a consistent all star and definitely has NO CHANCE to be considered a STAR...haha Ppl crack me up hating on dude!!

Lebron has many years left barring a freakish injury. Haters will continue to hate just like they did to MJ.

You noticed that too huh? lmao...last week it was Lebron the GM blah blah blah....where is all that sh't talking now. Apparently he is a damn good GM if he teams makes the finals every year and he gets 3 ships. What GM out there is so much better than that? I don't know why haters insist on talking out of both sides of their mouths because King James has made them look ridiculous this year.

King James pisses excellence...

Just heard that Lebron said he was fueled by people in Miami saying he was making a huge mistake going back to Cleveland. A career losing decision. Speculation is that Pat Riley told him this. He refused to provide a specific name...but he said this was his sole motivation in Cleveland he used to fuel him because he found it unappreciative of Miami to tell him this.

Spot on state of Miami. Cleveland sold out to stop curry and Thompsons 3's. They should have penetrated or rode green till the wheels fell off
To a certain degree they may have been a victim of their own success. You have a record-breaking season where you win 73 or whatever games playing this way, and you probably haven't had to go to "plan B" too much. We're not talking about 12 games into the season when you hit a slump - we're talking about a team that has seen this work (with unrivaled success) for more than 100 games this season. Now, after all this time and with the stakes this high, you're going to flip the script? Not easy to do I'm sure.

By the 2nd half of game 7 I wasn't going to be very happy either way. I definitely didn't want to see Lebron win a 'ship in Cleveland, nor did I want to see his jackazz owner win a ring either. But as much as I enjoyed watching GS play the few times a season I've been able to catch a game, I really couldn't stand the brand of basketball they were playing at the end either. It was counter to everything most people who've played the game their whole lives believe, and frankly painful to watch. It's one thing to shoot 3's early in the shot clock or in transition when you've got a good look, but to watch them pass up layups for contested 3's, and to see them continue to launch contested/off-balance/28 foot/circus shots when they're giving you the lane....tough to watch.

Well, this is a solid basketball analysis of what was going on over a seven game series. You started to see GS rely too much on small ball. Too many contested jump shots. They are so good at shooting they don't even consider a shot contested but this ended up hurting them. They needed to be more methodical. Get the ball in the lane and kick or finish. That is more Cleveland's game. They had some size advantages on the low blocks from time to time too.....but they wanted to stick with small ball. You can abuse J.R. Smith down there. Green did that at one point...but they shoot themselves in and out of games when you play teams that are good. It almost happened with OKC. That's why I never loved jump shooting teams although they may be the best one I have ever seen. It's like a great passing team with no running game. No balance.

I am not saying Steven A Smith is Mr. Reliable.....but he did break the Lebron to Miami story in 2010...lol......http://miami.cbslocal.com/2016/06/20/espns-stephen-a-smith-lakers-heat-are-possibilities-for-lebron/
