Miami will play its second game of the season Friday night hosting UCF.

Miami raise the Final Four Banner in the rafters before tipoff which is scheduled for 6:35 PM Eastern.

Tip is scheduled for 7:00 PM Eastern

The three ball is falling early for the Hurricanes. Joseph and Poplar (2) have buckets from deep.
 
Matthew Cleveland continues to affect the game. He has five points and an assist and hit from three.
 
Miami up 18-10 with 12:15 left in the 1st half.

Poplar leads all scorers with six points.

Christian Watson getting some early minutes as well as Nwoko, Casey and Georgie. Seems like the four will be in the rotation heavy this year.

Wooga Poplar is a gifted athlete. He's got 17 points now on 4-5 shooting. Perfect from three (3-3) and perfect from the line (6-6). Also has a block and a steal, plus four rebounds.

Canes maintaining a double-digit lead 58-41 with 11:46 left in the game.
 
UCF cut this game down to 10 with 10 minutes and now 8 with eight minutes left. The knights have been able to get to the hoop and draw fouls. Canes trying to stay out of foul trouble.
