Miami looks to avoid the sweep on Sunday.

The first pitch is set for 1 PM Sunday.
 
No score after two innings.

Miami pitcher Herick Hernandez retired six of seven batters, two strikeouts.
 
Aggressive base-running results in a run for Miami in the 3rd. A blooper in shallow right drops, and Jiminez beats play at the plate.
 
The Irish ties the game on an infield single. Bases are now loaded for ND, looking to build on its lead in the 3rd.
 
The Irish scores on a fielder's choice, then another on an error to first.

Notre Dame leads 3-1.
 
The Hurricanes rally in the 5th inning.

Miami loads the bases, and Cyr, hit by pitch, scores a run. Cuvet singles to right to score another, Gonzalez hits it in the infield, and it bounces off an infielder to score a third run.

Torres grounds out to score another run, and Scanlon singles to make it a 7-6 game.
 
Jacoby Long hits a three-run home run in the 5th to complete the rally. First home run for Long this season.

Canes lead Irish 9-7.
 
On to the bottom of the 5th inning and Hernandez still on the mound for the Hurricanes.

He strikes out three.
 
Brandon Olivera replaces Herick Hernandez on the mound.

Hernandez pitches five innings allows 7 runs, 8 hits, strikes out 7 and walks two.
 
Miami is able to add an insurance run in the 8th inning on a passed ball.

Canes lead Irish 10-7.
 
Nik Robert comes to the mound in the 8th inning and allows three runs.

Canes and Irish are tied at 10 going into the 9th inning.
 
Miami strands two in the top of the 9th and Notre Dame goes quietly in the bottom of the 9th with Robert still on the mound.

Daniel Cuvet puts Miami back on top with an RBI single.

Gonzalez moves Cuvet along to third with a single.

Torres hits a sac fly that scores Cuvet.

Miami leads 12-10 in the 10th.
 
Robert retires the first two batters, but the third batter singles, bringing the tying run to the plate.
 
Robert strikes out the next batter to secure the victory.

Miami wins 12-10 over Notre Dame to avoid the sweep.
