First off I had a great time with daughters and other family members and love being environment with cane fans only. Also the two hour trip from jax to Orlando saved me a lot of time than the usual 5 hour journey to Miami, but I would of gone even if I lived in north pole. Cant wait until 8/24. Great weather for game and stadium looks like a dump compared to modern stadiums but that was expected.

A lot more fans than I expected, looked like 10 to 12 thousand. Best part non-football related was the heckling and booing of the fan wearing the fsu shirt. I saw two of these guys. He got the Steve bartman treatment.` it seems this happens almost every year with the noles and turds. Also I was sitting atwo rows above potential recruits, Holmes, oline recruit and saw kinghton. Looked like they were into the canes.

Positives from game

1. Nkosi Perry looked poised and in control most of the game. He looked bigger, stronger and more accurate than last year. On the surface he appears a lot more mature.

2. Tate is a Jack rabbit. Quicker and faster than I thought and he has a little Johnny Manziel in him the way he improvised during the game. He ws fairly accurate, even though he missed some easy throws at the end of the game to Mallory that soured al little bit a good overall perfrmance.

3. Mallory looks beastly, and Irvin looks faster with great hands and very solid te. Enos incorporates the te a lot pre snap and in routes, so with 3 excellent te`s we are in great shape here.

4. DJ Dallas looked a little quicker than last year, he seems to hit the hole faster than last year, even though he lacks breakaway speed. Canesking correct about cam harris, he is the real deal, overall very runner, receiver with good speed to turn the corner and never loses yardage and good inside runner as well.

5 On defense, nesta, garvin, Joyner, Harvey, and hall stood out to me. Greg r played well and our corners Bethel, blades, Ivey played physical and fast. Tough to tell how good they will be by 8/24 due to a lot of walkons #29, 39 and 49 and Knowles playing a lot. After we get back our injured players, with the 3 transfers and hs players, are defense should be similar to last year. I think our secondary will be a pleasant surprise and we will not miss Joe Jackson as much as I thought. Bethel is a little better than last year. We will miss Willis a lot, but we should be solid with emergence of nesta, Ford and miller we should be fine with shaq and pinkney experience covering up any gap issue.

6. Receivers hard to tell also with Thomas and Hightower's missing, however Osborne looks reliable and will get open a lot. Not great speed but you can tell he is very reliable and Payton is a playmaker who will make plays this year. The other receivers made a few ike plays but nobody stood out to me, except Pope. He looks like the best receiver after the catch and hard to tackle due to his shiftiness, but still needs to get stronger to get out of his breaks clean.

Concerns

1. Oline looked out of sync about half the game. Only Donaldson and scaife stood out as reliable. I know we are missing gaynor, but with only adding two more hs players before the fall, we have too many missed assignments and players getting bullied by dline right now. I think many needs to hit the portal and get one more tackle and guard if he can. I know not a lot of great players out there but hopefully he can hit on at least one. I know this is not earth shattering news, but our oline will drag the team down, if our new oline coach cannot work miracles over the summer. I do believe though, that Campbell and herbert have the ability to be serviceable this year, but not quite there yet.

2. Jarren William's made some good throws at the end, but he looked lost at the beginning and slow in making his reads. Did not look as good as advertised. High potential to transfer like someone else said.

3. Special teams cannot get a read, I know we will get the aussie punter soon, Baxa huge leg, but I still so not feel overly confident in him making a pressure kick to win game.

Overall, I feel good about the defense, strength coach huge improvement, and play calling noticeably better and so is nkosi. Tate gives us a different element for opposition to defend with fast twitch quickness and ability to make plays out of nothing, even though he tends to tuck it and run a little too much instead of waiting for a receiver to get open. I guess likeus he does not trust the oline, but he looks like a gamer. After watching the other acc spring games and FL spring games, this team with new additions and summer improvement feels like a 9-3 TEAM.
