Manny is more Jimmy than anyone we have had here since Butch. Jimmy has said on numerous occasions that the most important 2 things a coach must get the right are 1. excellent OC and offensive line coach. Manny not married to anyone if he does not see improvement. Clearly, we are very very young and not overly talented on the Offensive Line, and probably do not have a sure NFL player at RB, WR, QB or Oline. (only TE do I see future pro). Looks like Enos is running a scheme as if he still had Tua and has 5 star athletes everywhere. He clearly needs to run the ball more (Lingard) and stop running "play action" without having established any semblance of a running game. This would also not put our young inexperienced lineman in the position of having to pass block on 2 of every 3 downs.

That being said, we are currently lacking 2 essential characteristics every team needs to have (Urban Meyer said this about Michigan) Our line lacks Toughness, nor do they play with great effort. It looked like UNC and Central Michigan both played harder than us.

On defense, it looks like the back seven is often lost. Not sure if it is scheme or football IQ, but too often, there is a breakdown in communication. Manny has a ton of stuff to correct, but I remember Jimmy's year #1, when he inherited Schnelly staff and over last 5 games of season, he fielded the worst UM defense I have ever seen. Give Manny time, and he will get it done. He is way too smart and dedicated not to make the required changes.
