I, like you, don't have the answers to this but surely you must have some ideas on what you would like to see happen. When we moved to Utah from Florida for my wife's job, she had a bad Bronchial attack and had to go to the hospital for a few days. Because it happened before she had been there for 30 days it wasn't covered by insurance. That should never happen in my eyes as she had insurance when we moved and would have had it through her new job if only she would have gotten sick 12 days later. It's not like we were deadbeats that didn't want to pay for insurance but simply that it didn't kick in for 30 days.
