I'm bored at work looking at last years NCAA stats, and said what the hell let's look at how Miami did:
Defense:
Total yards per game - 14th
Passing yards per game - 9th
Rushing yards per game - 39th
Points per game - 45th
Total Yards for the season - 13th
Those stats at face value would not make you think the Canes went 6-7. We all know we got ran on when the opponent wanted to, and obviously gave up too many points.
Overall, a season of stats like that should result in a better record.
Maybe this year it will improve... maybe...
