Even if I tried to take it seriously, it is a little humorous.......it actually was very, very funny to think about it; then I realized it is about my team, the Canes. It quickly became quite sad really.
Look, as soon as I read the title of the video, I knew right away it would be like trying to put together a "Pee Wee Herman's Greatest UFC wins" video. We all know there is no way to spin a video with either title into something meaningful and proud.
But, what if the video would have been, "The Foundation Al Golden has Built to Bring Back the U in 2016, 2017." That might have been a bit more interesting to read, think about and mostly defend. Now, doubts and arguments against that even happening have merit. But it is easier to argue that that could happen than to present a video about events that have factually taken place already related to best wins......Slapping us in the face with that reality is disheartening for even the staunchest of fans.
Why don't we take baby steps with this and put together a "Al Golden's Best Quarters" so we can take heart in some actual, decent accomplishments.
