Forgot to add this FACTUAL observation another astute poster reminded me of...was our OT’s getting beat off the ball/edge, causing most of the pressure/harassment that (Williams) was under most of the night...Yes!!!...but on (6-7) of those sacks, he HELD ON TO THE BALL wasaayyyy to long, and he REFUSED to tuck it and run, (it’s as if he’s staying in the pocket on purpose, trying to prove to people that he’s a really CEREBRAL POCKET PASSER and not just another Dual-Threat Athletic Black QB)...Dude, Just Tuck & Run after you’ve finished going thru your initial progressions, just like (Tua and Hurts) we’re taught to do by eNos...Now I am not uncertain, but I going to assume that eNos and Co. will get him to tighten that shit up...TODAY IN FILM STUDY...
Update: just read this from Mánolo
“I think he showed why we picked him to be our guy,” coach Manny Diaz said of Williams. “He made a lot of good throws, showed his toughness, was running for his life. I thought he managed the situation well and he’ll look at film and realize times he could get the ball out quicker, make the protection look better.”
