Well, Caniacs...
We may be down to our last game of the 2021 season and who thought it might be USF and possibly South Alabama left standing in the regional and not UM and UF?
We were tied 1-1...but then the rains came and the umps kept playing and we lost a long drive to CF in the pouring rain that scored 2 to break the tie. it was all downhill from there as we lost 10-2.

At 2-0, South Florida advances to a regional final for the first time since 2002...
We face South Alabama in an elimination game at noon Sunday. After stomping the Gators 19-1 earlier Saturday the Jags will be looking for blood...our blood to avenge their 1-0 loss to us Friday night.
We lose, we're out...we win, we face USF again at 6 pm Sunday. Lose and we're out. Beat them we force another game on Monday for the regional title.
Simple as that.
Pretty disappointing performance at the plate...again...by our team...we have scored only 3 runs in 18 innings as our bats continue to go silent.

Hello, Caniacs...
USA eliminated UF on heir home turf 19-1 in the first game today of the Gainesville Regional. But they had a 90 minute weather delay so our game will start between 6:15 and 6:30 pm EDT and it will air on ESPNU.
If we beat USF to go 2-0 we will be in the catbird seat and the winner of the USA-USF game will have to beat us twice to advance.
