Man there are some things that you just cannot tolerate and try to run a professional organization .. and nepotism continues to threaten to have a negative impact on UM athletics in a major fashion. Not too long ago it was Mark Richt who used the UM football program as training wheels for his son .. first job .. QB Coach at UM. How did THAT turn out, Now we are in a major dilemma with Manny Diaz Sr using any influence he still retains .. in pushing to get his inept son another year as UM's head football coach, and at the same time another gem, DiMare, is using his BOT position to keep from approving Jurich as the AD hire .. which will potentially mean that the job will go to Tony Hernandez .. a rookie who has never HELD that position before, but he is a Cuban who attended Columbus and UM. So we pass on THE most experienced AD in the country .. a guy that would be incredible teamed with Alonzo .. as AD in Waiting.
If this situation deteriorates to that degree .. TH is named AD and Manny is done .. so is the UM football program and a HUGE % of long time fans .. diehard fans. Enough is enough.
