Took the high speed rail train from Paris to the South of France ... back in 94 ... to meet with seed company reps at a Charontais Melon farm. After inspecting varietal trials we adjourned to the stone farm house that was a few hundred years old, to a selection of champagne / wine and cheese ... and it was 10:00 am. Then on to a small village center ... to a small restaurant ... that was packed with growers for an outstanding 2 hour luncheon ... each course with the appropriate wine. Dining in France is an art form.

Yes, many times. Super cool atmosphere. I don’t smoke. But if I did, this is the place to hang out at a sidewalk table.

Also been to Shakespeare & Co., the English language bookstore on the Left Bank. Classic. See shakespeareandcompany.com. Hemingway wrote about it in The Moveable Feast. Lastly, can’t miss going to Bar Hemingway at the Ritz. Small, intimate and historic. Legendary bartender.

I have actually been to the apartment where he wrote The Sun Also Rises, and I have gotten wasted at the Bar Hemingway at the Ritz. Hemingway "liberated" the Ritz Bar with Gen. Buck Lannon when they retook Paris. LOL!
