I'm going with Weldon. I just don't see Perry having enough time to pass him. The kid works hard, is bright, has known the system and has the physical tools. He is fundamentally sound.

Now I will say this. That doesn't mean that Perry can't to pass him eventually....but I am going with Weldon.

Wildcard would be Evan. This is very bright. Fundamentally sound. Very big.....with some arm talent.

Now he could emerge from the spring. In which case I think Perry wins the job.

Yes....plays for UCONN. Started up until he lost his spot late last year at QB.

Perry. He is the best QB as far as skill set. He will be working on the playbook starting this month .. February .. so he will have 7 months getting familiar with the offense. The two freshmen QB's could be #1 and #2 unless one of the current roster guys really steps up. Accuracy and arm strength are crucial and from the comments made by Jon Richt .. it seems like Perry is perceived to be THE best at actually getting the ball to receivers. Fall practice will be interesting. Can't wait for the opener!!
