Yep, numerous Canes fans and their fearless leader have been imprisoned by their blinding Cokerization, Randism, and Goldenization of the past nearly two decades, unable to see the growth and improvement of a young team and inexperienced staff.

They’ve been conditioned to expect the worst. They await the implosion. They have already quit like most of the teams they have rooted for have done for the past decade.

Success and improvement has been so distant in the past, they have been conditioned to only see the warts.

I see a rainbow! Call me a pumper. Call me a idiot. Just make sure you call ma a Cane.

A week ago most on this board said JW couldn’t throw the deep ball. Just maybe his throwing shoulder had been a bit dinged up from being sacked 20x a game. Looked pretty stellar last week throwing +40 yard dimes.

Started the season with 2 Fr, 2 So and 1 Jr OL. Might be the youngest OL in power 5 EVER. They looked pretty ****ing good the last two weeks in pass protection. DO YOU REALIZE they gave up a total of 4 sacks combined against the #1 and #17 teams for sacks the past two weeks! Are you F’ing kidding me? Pass protection requires finesse, run blocking brute strength, the latter will come in time.

Oh, did you see that D last week? Your fearless leader will tell you it’s a matchup advantage. Do you think Clem. had the same advantage? Then why did we have 3X the number of sacks and hold them to 1/3 the rushing yardage, and their lowest point total of the season; IN THIER HOUSE. Oh, and got the HC dismissed mid season at the cost of an extra 3M. Just maybe the SR LB began to trust a young DL to do their jobs and focused on their own responsibilities.

There are I believe only 4 SR starting on this team, guess what.........we’re young. Add to that a first time HC, and OC that is learning what he has to work with.

I’ll add after last week recruiting seems to be taking a step forward. If we continue like last week, I’ll bet it takes a real step forward. Manny knows SoFL is filled with diva recruits, and just maybe his philosophy recruiting those kids will gain traction. I will say if the U starts to look like it’s on an upward trajectory, they will ALL be wanting in. Maybe there is a spot left, maybe ****ing not!

Did I mention we have a RFr QB?

If your objective, you can’t help but see the improvement, and I didn’t even mention the lack of a FG kicker. Think that will be solved with Borales’ older brother being a grad transfer from FIU.

Train is leaving the station, time to get aboard or be left behind; that includes fans and recruits.
