Facts say otherwise. In 2018 there were 547,948 black on white violent crime incidents while there were 59,778 white on black violent crime incidents. This doesn't even count all the videos out there of blacks attacking whites for no reason other than their skin color that we are seeing lately.

My Dad's side din't get here until the late 18th century. My Mom's side that were here were Loyalists who left the country around the time of the Revolutionary War and settled in the Bahamas. Personally I could care less what happened to my ancestors 200 years ago as it has no bearing on anything I do today or tomorrow.

801 older Black people I would say 50 years or older where around when Blacks where being lynched, beat up, raped, and imprisoned by white people. Do you know how many black families were destroyed because of racism? Hundreds of thousands of those people are still living. Since Obama became President they are supposed to automatically like white people considering what they have been through in there life. My dad passed away in April 98 years old, raised in Southern Georgia. You can’t image what he lived through.

I got jumped twice in Miami by black people but hold no grudges towards all blacks because of it. I don't even hold a grudge against the ones that did it as that was 40 years ago. Very sorry for the loss of your Father but am glad you got to have him in your life for such a long time. My Dad passed back in 2000 at the age of 64. I can't imagine the things that your Dad saw in those 98 years but I bet he was one tough SOB like my Dad was. My Dad would be 84 this year and was also a southern boy that had a very tough and poor upbringing.
Good post. I lost my dad at a young age and he was young 54 years. But that man taught me so much . Yep the biggest myth is that all white people were rich and did not have to work for anything. Can not say how many nights all we had to eat was navy beans and cornbread. Still one of my Favorites lol. But one thing that we had was God, Accountability, respect for others , Family values And the belief of rule of law. We said the pledge of Allegiance every day and loved our country.
Interesting What you brought in your first sentence....obviously you are referring 60-120 years ago.... now take away the lynching and you have the raping and the beatings ( and I will add murders )..now go look up the violent crimes rate for black on white crimes as opposed to white on black crimes ( take into account that blacks only make up 12-13% of the US population.... do the research and let me know who the racists are again..... truth is , racists come in all sizes, shapes , and colors.... until you realize and accept this , you are part of the problem , not the solution.... on a side note, condolonces on your dad (amazing to live to 98)

Yep, we had rice and beans a few times a week when I was growing up. My Dad grew up in N Carolina in a house with walls but with a dirt floor, and had to drop out of school before he was done with the 6th grade to help support his family, while his Mom picked crops all day.
Even lima beans? Those and field peas are my favorites. Ha ha. I'm sure you must have had a few fried bologna sandwiches growing up like we did.
How my Dad grew up is what drove him to succeed. He was determined to find a better life and he always took care of his Mom when he got older by helping her with money even after she got remarried.
I like them now, not so much when I was younger. I only get black beans now, wifey is Cubano and has never had a lima bean and refuses to try them. Thinks I'm a redneck.
