This is all premature BS. Trump has no scientific training. Why should he be believed when scientists worldwide have no definitive answer? Trump was convinced by aides and a French study, which has since been put in doubt, that the drug was effective. FDA has rescinded use for the virus.
All the credible science shows this works on patients in the early stages, when medicine and politics get involved politics always wins.
In the first large, high-quality study the drug proved ineffective. The New England Journal of Medicine published results that it was no better than placebo pills at preventing illness.
You're the one making this about politics. I base my opinions on the scientific research not politics. For over 200 years, The New England Journal has vetted and compiled the latest medical research. Their new study found hydroxy is not effective treating Covid-19 and may cause adverse effects. Forget the politics and do the research!
